Shortly after Armenia’s parliamentary elections on 7 June, ICEUR-Vienna conducted an interview with Hayk Mamijanyan, Deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia, to discuss the country’s future, the state of Armenian democracy, and the ongoing challenges surrounding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. For Hayk Mamijanyan it is important that Armenia does not become “an arena of geopolitical fights.” Furthermore, regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mamijanyan calls for a “guarantee for peace.”
