The combined and conflicting effects of global warming, the war in Ukraine and the Covid-driven rearrangement of international trade patterns puts national and international decision-makers between a rock and a hard place. They are facing tough choices to strike a balance between the need to provide energy at tolerable prices while performing the stunt of energy transition. This daunting task is especially demanding for the elected leaders of democratic countries.
The Federation of Austrian Industries and ICEUR are convening a panel of top experts who will analyze the intractable dilemmas involved and provide insights as well as guidance.
